What is a “Funbook?” 

A Funbook is a workbook that is more about fun than work!

Each LRM Funbook has math activities for 16 different children's books. You can find read-alouds for most of the books on www.youtube.com. Type the title in the search box. For example: “Wanda’s Roses read aloud”.

Math topics are drawn from the state and national standards for teaching mathematics. The covers have punchout math manipulatives that are used for the math activities inside. Funbooks can be used at home, in classrooms, after school centers, day camps, libraries, or in other environments where the intent is to provide children with a series of lessons to build their enjoyment and conceptual understanding of math.
